Several critical XSS security issues have been identified that affects all versions of MediaCP Audio and Video Panel.

The security vulnerabilities may allow an unauthorized attacker to gain admin access to the MediaCP software.

We have published new minor updates to the LTS, Stable, and Latest release tiers and urge all customers to upgrade MediaCP immediately.

The current version that is downloaded is 2.14.8, now 2.14.9 has been released which fixes the security issues.

They've rushed out versions 2.13.14, 2.14.9, and 2.15.2 because there's a security issue. They're already online, but I don't know how to update this one, which is 2.14.8 and affected by the security issue.

Okay, i will update my files with the new one, and share again a new installation,

But i don't believe about that the admin is compromised,

They just upgraded the ioncube from php 7.2 to 8.2 so that it become difficult for us to null it, and that we then get scared of their older versions.


I can even do a full AI scan to find any leak.

Hope to download ver 2.15.1 or 2.15.2 when you are done with it

I tried installing the new version with that script, and I noticed that it downloads the new one and won't install anymore. They released 2.14.10 and must have made some changes, but shouldn't the script download 2.14.9?

Strange, anyway i updated it a little so it ignores new version try again, you should do a new install only, upgrades is not tested!.

When I do the new installation it starts immediately with the new update and then crashes

Now it install, but the plugins are missing, it loads them without plugins

Did you use a clean install ? i also installed it and worked fine but it have to be a really clean install.

Again make sure it's clean i would recommend installing it on Ubuntu 24.04 if you don't want any errors anything lower may cause errors
